Dawn of War III is the latest, hotly anticipated title from the Warhammer 40,000 franchise. It launches on April 27, and if that's not exciting enough, check out the trailer they released for it. If you're still not convinced, they're doing a beta this weekend for players to try it out.
The open beta starts today, April 21 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET and it ends on Monday, April 24 at the same time. The beta has all three factions: Space Marines, Eldar and Orks, with limited access to the elite heroes for each team. The beta is multiplayer only and will have three maps.
Six doctrines will be available per faction. These doctrines allow army abilities like health regeneration or taunts, which effectively changes the way the army fights.
Sign up for the beta here, if this sounds enticing. Developers Relic Entertainment warns players that progress in the beta will not be carried over into the final game when it launches.
