During an IGN video walkthrough of Zombie Studios' upcoming horror game Daylight, studio director Jarred Gerritzen announced that the game will be releasing in April 2014 (about 11 seconds into the video). It was previously announced release date was just "early 2014," as you can see at the end of the trailer we've included in this post.
In Daylight, you play as Sarah Gwynn who awakes in the lobby of Mid Island Bay Hospital — a hospital that was turned into a makeshift morgue following a horrific steamboat accident. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and uses procedurally generated levels, which means that no two games will feature the same hospital. It also means that every playthrough will be different with their own unique scares.
