Bohemia Interactive's DayZ may still be in Early Access, but that isn't stopping people from gobbling up the zombie-survival game. According to the game's lead producer, the standalone version of DayZ — a game that once started out as a mod for Arma — has sold over three million copies.
Well, I guess it is official now. DayZ has sold over 3,000,000 units as of yesterday. *mind blown* Amazing. Thank You all for the support.

The success of DayZ has spawned a number of competitors to pop up including Rust, 7 Days to Die, and most recently, SOE's H1Z1. Of course, none of them seem to be taking away from the popularity of DayZ.
Congrats Bohemia Interactive…and just so you know, we bought into the game too (we did not survive long in it).
