De Bellis Antiquitatis Online (DBA Online)
— Version 1.10 Now Available
April 18, 2002
Wargaming.net is pleased to announce DBA
Online version 1.10 release, which is scheduled to April 18th, 2002. This
version includes all 220 historic armies (1180 original figures)! There have
been two years of hard research and painting work – and it’s finally done. The
armies cover the world history from 3000BC to 1500AD. No more blank rectangles
on the battlefield!
In addition, the new version includes painted
Camp Followers, so you can enjoy the images of women, priests, children, cattle
and workers, etc. guarding camps.
Plus a new "Double Army" feature has been
added to our Web-based Personal Challenge Manager (PCM). Now instead of the
necessity to customize the army list manually, you just mark one checkbox to
create battles with 24 units per side. The software automatically limits the map
range to big maps only.
Also, a new "View Army Details" button has
been added to PCM. While sending or accepting challenges you will be able to
view all essential information about any army: unit images, army composition and
suggested enemy armies.
