DC Fandome Schedule: All game and movie panels

Since E3 was canceled and Comic-Con was… a thing that barely even happened, Warner Bros. is hosting a DC-centric event: DC Fandome. The event takes place over 24 hours and there will be a LOT of stuff going on but if you’re interested in how to see the video game and movie panels, we’ve got you covered.

Below, you’ll find the schedule and details of all the big game and movie panels at DC Fandome. We’ll be sure to cover any breaking news from the event here on GameZone, so if you miss it, come back to the website for all the deets.

DC Fandome Video Game Panels:

WB Montreal Game Announcement (Heavily rumored to be a new Batman game) – August 22nd, 1:30 PM ET

Batman

The second panel of the entire event is a brand new video game from WB Montreal. While we don’t officially know what it is yet, all signs point to a new Batman game. Teasers, leaks, and rumors have all but confirmed the existence of a new title starring The Dark Knight himself. WB Montreal helmed Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013 as a prequel to the Rocksteady trilogy.

The DC Fandome panel will be 20 minutes long and include a new look at whatever the game is with a developer Q&A.

Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – August 22nd, 8:10 PM ET

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Another Batman developer will be at the show but the Caped Crusader won’t be the protagonist. In fact, he may technically be an antagonist. Rocksteady has been heads down on a new game since 2015 and it’s a Suicide Squad game. Ironically, WB Montreal was reportedly working on a Suicide Squad game at one point but it was scrapped.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was revealed earlier this month via Twitter. The teaser showed what appeared to be Superman with a target on his head. Of course, the title also implies the team of villains will be hunting down members of the Justice League which typically includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and more.

The DC Fandome panel will last 20 minutes and be hosted by Will Arnett.

DC Fandome Movie Panels:

Wonder Woman 1984 – August 22nd, 1PM ET

The first panel of the DC Fandome event will be focused on the upcoming Wonder Woman film, Wonder Woman 1984. The sequel to the acclaimed 2017 film puts the hero in the titular year of 1984, decades after the first film and decades before she unites with Batman and Superman.

The panel will be 25 minutes long and feature a new trailer for the film as well as a discussion with stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, and director/co-writer/producer Patty Jenkins. Wonder Woman 1984 is slated to release in theaters this October.

Introducing Flash – August 22nd, 2:45PM ET

The Flash

This 10 minute panel will be a brief rundown of what the upcoming Flash film holds in store for fans. This will be the first live-action solo outing for the character on the big screen and looks to do big things. Michael Keaton is slated to return as Batman via the multiverse and will reportedly have a Nick Fury-type role in the DC universe going forward.

Star Ezra Miller, screenwriter Christina Hodson, producer Barbara Muschietti, and director Andy Muschietti will host the speedy DC Fandome panel.

The Suicide Squad – August 22nd, 3PM ET

Yes, another Suicide Squad panel. This time it’s a sequel/soft-reboot to the 2016 film. With the exception of a couple key characters like Harley Quinn, the whole cast has been reshuffled with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn at the helm. The Suicide Squad has already finished shooting and is in editing, so we’ll likely get our first look at the film during this panel.

This 30 minute panel will see James Gunn fielding questions before bringing out the squad themselves.

The Snyder Cut of Justice League – August 22nd, 5:45PM ET

The fabled Snyder Cut is real and it’s coming to HBO Max in 2021. After director Zack Snyder left the film in 2017 following a family tragedy, Justice League was reshot and rewritten by Joss Whedon. For years, fans demanded WB release Snyder’s original vision and now it’s happening.

Snyder will take questions for 25 minutes alongside “surprise guests” and also debut a new look at the film which he claims is about 214 minutes long.

Black Adam – August 22nd, 6:10PM ET

Black Adam

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was cast as DC villain Black Adam all the way back in 2014. After a few years, it seemed like a movie that was just going to get forgotten about but it is really happening. While they haven’t begun shooting, The Rock will do a little Q&A to answer questions about the film.

The DC Fandome panel will be about 15 minutes long and also feature some surprises.

The Batman – August 22nd, 8:30PM ET

To wrap up DC Fandome, Batman will close us out. The long in-development film is the first solo outing for the character since Christopher Nolan concluded his acclaimed Dark Knight trilogy in 2012. The film was once going to star Ben Affleck who would also write and direct the project. Of course, he stepped down and Matt Reeves took over with Robert Pattinson filling the cape and cowl.

The film finally began filming earlier this year but was abruptly interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Matt Reeves will talk about the film in a 30 minute panel which will include a surprise or two, likely a sneek peek at the film based on some of the footage they shot.
