Dead Island 2 gameplay trailer features sunshine and lots of bloody slaughter

Back in June, Deep Silver released a cinematic announcing Dead Island 2. Like its predecessors, the CGI trailer was top notch, but it had a much different feel than the previous Dead Island games. That's because this time around Deep Silver and Yager aren't going for dark and grim; instead, they are just going for fun — as evidenced by the latest gameplay trailer appropriately titled "Sunshine & Slaughter." Don't worry though, as you can see the shift in tone has had no impact on the goriness of Dead Island 2.

Dead Island 2 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC in spring 2015.
