It looks as though we are getting another high definition remaster of a game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC! South African site Loot.co.za has listed the Dead Island Definitive Edition for release this November on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Koch Media, the parent company of game publisher Deep Silver declined to comment on the game and Deep Silver itself has yet to reveal the remaster. With so little information on the game, it's tough to say whether or not the Definitive Edition will include Dead Island Riptide as well as the original or simply include the original game.
Not too long ago, Deep Silver announced that they had parted ways with the Dead Island 2 developer Yager. The game publisher cited creative differences as the reason for the split. The Definitive Edition of the game could be the answer for fans during Dead Island 2's hiatus or as a method of making money to fund development of the game with a new studio.
Until Deep Silver decides to comment on the existence of Dead Island Definitive Edition all we can do is twiddle our thumbs.
