Dead or Alive 5 is due out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 25, and Tecmo Koei has announced a Collector's Edition version of the upcoming fighter. Exclusive to GameStop, Dead or Alive 5 Collector's Edition will be priced at $79.99 and include the following neat extras:
- Art book
- Soundtrack CD
- Poster
- Steel case
- Swimsuits for the ladies of Dead or Alive 5
Additionally, gamers who pre-order the game through either GameStop or Amazon will be treated to exclusive "bunny-style swimsuits" for select female characters. Pre-order at GameStop, and you'll get the white DOA Angels swimsuits for Kasume, Leifang, and Hitomi. Meanwhile those who pre-order at Amazon will get the black DOA Devils swimsuits for Christie, Tina, and Ayane.
I was really impressed with Dead or Alive 5 when I checked the game out at E3 this year. The high-action, over-the-top style really appealed to me, and quite frankly, I've been looking for a new fighter to get the horrid, bitter, repulsive, stupid, ugly, annoying, disgusting, abysmal, ridiculous, horrific, nasty, foul, stinky, dumb …

… rotten, appalling, sour, crappy, bad taste that Street Fighter X Tekken left in my mouth. I may just be picking up Dead or Alive 5 Collector's Edition when it hits GameStop stores on September 25.
