Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate packs a punch, released yesterday in North America

Tecmo Koei's Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate was released yesterday bringing new modes, online features, stages, and costumes to the popular fighter from 2012. Although the DOA 5 Ultimate released yesterday here in North America, those in Europe will have to wait until Friday, September 6th to get their hands on the new and improved game.

As an expanded edition of 2012's titillating fighter, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate offers a number of new modes, features, and add-ons. The Team Fight mode allows players to create a squad of seven characters; the first to beat all characters on the opposing team wins. There's also 2-on-2 Online, a cooperative tag mode where you and a friend can fight against another team online, and an improved Tutorial mode.

Check out all of the cool, neat add-ons here. DOA5 Ultimate is available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
