You might be expecting a graphically superior version of Dead Space 3 on PC, but Visceral Games isn't interested in delivering.
The developer confirmed to games.on.net that the PC version will be a straight port of the console game — with no support for DirectX 11, additional high-resolution textures, or any other visual enhancements "above and beyond those seen on the PS3 or Xbox 360.”
That's unfortunate for some, but not every developer is Crytek, either. Priorities vary.
The demo has been available since Tuesday if you want to check out how the game plays on those systems.
