The Dead Space series was one of last gen's best horror narratives, and while the third entry didn't quite pack the same amount of punch as the first two games, it's engrossing co-op brought something new to the series, and ultimately made it worth playing. After previously revealing it back in October, EA has announced that Dead Space 3 has officially joined the ever-growing EA Access Vault.
Dead Space 3 had gone backwards compatible on Xbox One earlier this year, and it is playable to anyone with an EA Access subscription at no additional charge. EA Access subscriptions will run you either $5 a month or $30 a year, and grants you early access to timed trials of new games on top of that. Suffice it to say; there is plenty of value in the service.
Dead Space 3 released back in 2013, finishing up a series that hasn't been seen since.
Also new to EA Access is the timed trial of the controversial Star Wars: Battlefront 2, so if you're on the fence about picking it up, the subscription will give you 10 hours worth of gameplay to make your decision.
