Some Dead Space fans have made a live-action Dead Space trailer. Titled "Chase to Death," the three-minute video features everyone's favorite delusional engineer — Isaac Clarke — being hunted by a Necromorph.
The film was made by Eric Zaragoza, a self-proclaimed fan of science fiction, filmmaking and video games. In the description of the video, Zaragoza writes:
I'm a fan of Science Fiction, Filmmaking, and Video games, so I clashed them all together in one video, DEAD SPACE: Chase to Death. I hope that I will be able to continue making live action video game trailers. It's so much fun. I hope you enjoy it, especially the creators of Dead Space. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement to travel into the horror of outer space. I also want to thank my amazing crew for sticking with me and listening to me rank about this idea. Onto the next one…maybe Dead Space: Collusion or Dark Souls II or…
Even though Isaac looks a bit cosplay-ish for my taste, it is a well-made fan film. The set is wonderful, and the Necromorph's effects are well done. It actually has a bit of the same feel of Ridley Scott's Alien — which is exactly how a Dead Space movie should feel.
