Dead Star confirmed as free game for April’s PS Plus lineup

Earlier this week it was rumored that the top-down twin-stick 10v10 strategic multiplayer space shooter, Dead Star, would be one the free games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in April. The rumor was founded on a tweet from a user named BLAMdrew (via DualShockers) who posted an alleged message from PlayStation.

Since then, a PlayStation representative has come forward to confirm that Dead Star will indeed be one of the free games available on PS Plus next month.

"Yes, Dead Star will be added to the April free games lineup for PlayStation Plus members," a spokesperson told GameSpot. "Stay tuned for our announcement on the full April free games lineup for Plus members later this month.

It's a bit early to find out what the rest of the free PS Plus games will be for April, but we at least know one.
