Earlier this week it was rumored that the top-down twin-stick 10v10 strategic multiplayer space shooter, Dead Star, would be one the free games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in April. The rumor was founded on a tweet from a user named BLAMdrew (via DualShockers) who posted an alleged message from PlayStation.

"Yes, Dead Star will be added to the April free games lineup for PlayStation Plus members," a spokesperson told GameSpot. "Stay tuned for our announcement on the full April free games lineup for Plus members later this month.
