Capcom’s Japanese office announced today that the Xbox 360-exclusive Dead Rising 2 will be delayed indefinitely after its originally scheduled release date for August 31. According to Capcom, the company stated that it has discovered some parts of the game that they feel would not be appropriate for a free sampler.
Case 0 is set three years prior to the events of upcoming Dead Rising 2 and introduces players to Chuck Greene. For people who are looking to get through the entirety of Case 0, people will have to spend Microsoft Points. No word on whether or not this delay has affected worldwide plans or just Japan.
