Deadpool celebrates Christmas with new Red and Green Band trailers

20th Century Fox gave us the best present this Christmas in the form of a new trailer for Deadpool. Feeling the festive spirit, there are two versions of the trailer — Red and Green Band.

The Red Band is obviously a little more inappropriate, but probably more accurate to the R-rating Deadpool has received. The Green Band still has some jokes, but removes most of the violence, blood and gore, and cursing — so basically everything that makes Deadpool great. Check out both trailers below.

The trailers sort of give us an overview of the plot of Deadpool, but just in case, here's the official synopsis.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool is slated to hit theaters on February 12, 2016.
