Originally, we were supposed to see the world of Final Fantasy XV expand into a multiplayer game with the new expansion Comrades on October 31. Unfortunately, the add-on was delayed due to "final adjustments and to create the best possible experience." We weren't sure what date it was delayed to until today.
A tweet from FFXV 's Japanese twitter (Thanks to DualShockers for the find and translation) announced that the expansion will now launch on November 15.
Comrades will put you in the shoes of a surviving Kingsglaive to hunt for Noctis while he's missing in Chapter 13 of the main story. There will be plenty to do in the expansion, including additions to the main title's features.
Additionally, Episode Ignis, the next story expansion to Final Fantasy XV, recently received a release date of December 15. Final Fantasy XV is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version is planned in 2018. While a specific date is unknown, the developers have stated that the PC version has been remarkably easier to develop for than the console versions.
