Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. is pleased to
announce the release of the open multiplayer beta test for the
eagerly awaited title Delta Force – Black Hawk Down. The beta test
features Team Deathmatch mode over one multiplayer level.
The multiplayer beta is available
for download until August 09th, and will expire on August 16th.
The multiplayer beta utilizes one map, set during
the daytime. The gameplay mode is Team Deathmatch. The beta will allow a maximum
of 32 players per game when hosted by NovaLogic and 16 players with a client
hosted game (Internet and LAN).

Tell me more about the
Delta Force Black Hawk Down multiplayer beta?
The multiplayer beta will
be utilizing one map, set during the daytime. The gameplay mode will be Team
Deathmatch. The beta will allow a maximum of 32 players per game when hosted by
NovaLogic, and 16 players with a client hosted game (Internet and LAN). As this
is a beta test, the code is not optimized to its fullest extent and does not
include a full feature set. Therefore, some people may experience compatibility
or performance issues. There will be no single player features in this beta.
The purpose of this
multiplayer beta is to allow us to get your feedback on the Delta Force Black
Hawk Down gaming experience.
NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT WILL
BE OFFERED FOR THIS BETA TEST.
When is it available?
The beta will be available
for download from Friday August 2nd until Friday August 9th.
It will be playable until Friday August 16th.
Why is it only available
for two weeks?
This is to allow us to get
feedback on the beta from the gaming community. The feedback will then be
collated, and implemented where possible in preparation for the launch of the
official Multiplayer Demo at the end of August.

The main sign up page will

requirements on the main sign-up page, they will be directed to the download
page that contains the list of mirror sites hosting the download.
What are the specs?
As this is a beta test, the
code is not optimized to its fullest extent and does not include a full
feature set. Therefore, some people may experience compatibility or
performance issues. These specs do not relate to the specs for the final retail
code.
