HAWK DOWN OFFICIAL MULTIPLAYER DEMO GOES LIVE
New features include Night
Mission and Progressive Spawn Points

Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today announced
that the official pre-release multiplayer demo for Delta Force – Black Hawk
Down is now available. The demo is available for download from
www.novalogic.com and a number of key mirror sites. **(see note below
received after this announcement)
The
demo features one multiplayer level and includes day and night settings. The
demo is playable over the NovaWorld Games Network and via LAN. Other features in
the demo include:
Night vision.
Players can play as medics.
Humvees drive around the map on a fixed course.
Players can board the Humvees and use the .50 cal machine guns against the
opposing team.
Progressive Spawn Points – Players can "capture"
neutral spawn points to add additional spawn locations.
Players can lean around corners to look and shoot.
Frag grenades.
Grenade launchers (fixed weapon emplacements).
New weapon ballistics.
Delta Force –
Black Hawk Down
will ship on
PC CD – ROM during October 2002.
**NovaLogic has released a new build of
the official multiplayer demo of Delta Force – Black Hawk Down that does not
include the ezpad software.
This is due to a number of responses from
consumers experiencing difficulties with the NetQuartz ezpad technology included
in the demo.
Consumers who have already downloaded the
demo Version 10 will be able to update the game to Version 11 by clicking on the
‘Update Game’ button in game, once this update has installed, consumers will
then be able to uninstall the ezpad technology and play with the demo as normal.
To fully uninstall ezpad, right click on the ezpad icon on the task bar, and
select quit, then uninstall the software via the ADD/REMOVE Programs option in
the control panel.

those customers who have experienced difficulties.
