Destiny 1’s final Iron Banner is officially live

As promised, Destiny has officially entered the downturn of its time as the series' main game. Bungie has officially launched the game's final Iron Banner before Destiny 2 launches next month, giving players one last chance to score some sweet loot.

Iron Banner is a week-long event in which players participate in multiplayer matches with their absolute best gear, as a player's Light Level is a significant determining factor when considering damage dealt and received. The event is historically meant for more hardcore players, so you can expect the competition to be as fierce as it has ever been given that this is a historic event. At least as historic as Destiny is concerned.

The final Trials of Osiris event will be going down later this month on August 11th, so you can look forward to that as well.

Destiny 2 launches in just over a month on September 6th for PS4 and Xbox One and on October 24th for PC.
