Destiny 2 (and Destiny 1) Weekly Reset 1/30: Nightfall, Iron Banner, Eververse and more

A patch hit Destiny 2 yesterday that brought a number of changes to Destiny 2, as well as initiated the Weekly Reset and Iron Banner. There are a ton of details around the Weekly Reset and Iron Banner for Destiny 2 and plenty of work to do in Destiny 1 as well.

We will skip the fluff and let you head into the details. The Iron Banner will run from January 30th to February 5th. The update features new armor ornaments, weapons, and items.

Destiny 2

Nightfall: Savathun’s Song
Modifiers
  • Timewarp: Anomalies
  • Momentum
Challenges
  • Speed of Dark requires the fireteam to finish the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining on the clock.
  • To earn Unbroken, the fireteam needs to complete the Nightfall with fewer than three deaths.
  • The Best Defense can be completed by shooting down 15 projectiles before defeating Savathun’s Song.

While on the Leviathan, using Power Weapons to defeat challenging enemies will boost your Power Weapon damage by 15% for a short time.

Destiny 1

Nightfall: The Shadow Thief

Ocean of Storms, Moon The Devil Splicers made Taniks Perfected. He’s back in his old Wolfship near the Moon. Board it and eliminate the threat he poses.

Modifiers

  • Arc Burn – Arc Damage from any source is greatly increased.
  • Solar Burn – Solar damage from any source is greatly increased.
  • Void Burn – Void damage from any source is greatly increased.
  • Ironclad – More enemies have shields.
  • Daybreak – The Darkness grows stronger, and so do you. Form a fireteam of three and unleash your Light with greatly increased ability recharge.

  • Heroic – Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive.
  • Exposure – Guardian shields are increased but do not replenish.
