Destiny 2 appears to have game affecting microtransactions

It looks like there might be some microtransactions in Destiny 2 that could potentially impact gameplay. With servers having gone live in Destiny 2, people have begun snooping around the game looking at all it has to offer.

Apparently, one of the things Destiny 2 will offer is an option for players to use Silver, an in-game currency bought with real-world money, to buy Bright Engrams. 

Thanks to an archived (via PC GamesN) stream from streamer KingGothalion, we have an idea of how much Bright Engrams cost and what they can do for Destiny 2 players. 

While prices for Silver haven't been listed on PSN or Xbox Live yet, their price has been revealed in a GameStop flyer unearthed by Hunticeland on Twitter. Knowing these prices help gauge what players will have to pay to purchase Bright Engrams with Silver.

• 1000 Silver + 100 bonus costs $9.99
• 2000 Silver + 300 bonus costs $19.99

As for Bright Engrams, according to KingGothalion's stream, here are their prices:

• One Bright Engram costs 200 Silver
• Three Bright Engrams cost 500 Silver
• Five Bright Engrams cost 800 Silver

KingGothalion' also showed off the possible contents of Bright Engrams include the following:

• Ability cooldown armor mods: "Chance to contain an armor mod that decreases the cooldown of one Arc, Solar, or Void subclass ability."
• Character stats armor mods: "Chance to contain an armor mod that slightly enhances a character stat."
• Weapon stats armor mods: "Chance to contain an armor mod that slightly enhances the weapon stats of an equipped Primary, Energy, or Power weapon."
• Elemental weapon mods: "Chance to contain a weapon mod that changes the element of an Energy or Power weapon."

Sooo… The details seem to show the mods absolutely affecting gameplay.
