Destiny 2: Bungie partnering with Rockstar and Pop-Tarts for in-game items

Destiny 2 is coming and it seems Bungie is doing more than polishing the final phase of the game. Activision has announced today a new partnership with Rockstar Energy drink and Pop-tarts toaster pastries to bring players custom offers to enhance their Destiny 2 experience.

If you’re looking for special gear to be ready to fight Ghaul’s forces, then Rockstar Energy Drink is what you need. They will offer limited edition “Destiny 2 themed” cans in different flavors available in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Germany. These cans will come with redeemable codes for in-game gear for your guardians. You can also enter a sweepstake that will offer daily and weekly prizes as well as a chance to win a Destiny 2-theme motorcycle. Head to the Destiny/Rockstar Energy promo site to redeem your code starting September 1st.

On the other hand, Pop-Tarts will help you level up faster with an XP Boost that will be included for free in a specially-marked package Pop-Tart for a limited time. These packages are custom designed and will feature each Guardian subclass. They’re expected to hit shelves starting this September, so availability will depend on the retail stores.
