Destiny 2 (and Destiny 1) Weekly Reset 1/16: Nightfall, Faction Rally, Eververse and more

We are well into another week in January, which means that last week’s reset in Destiny 2 and 1 are done. We have a new Weekly Reset, with it’s own Nightfall, Challenges, and Eververse items.

This week marks the return of Faction Rally, which you can find happening in EDZ. The faction rewards are Hollow Earth, The Doubt, and Loquitor IV. As for everything else included in the update, you can find that below.

Destiny 2

Nightfall: The Pyramidion with Torrent and Zero Hour

Modifiers:

  • Torrent

Challenges

  • Speed of Dark – At least 5 minutes remaining
  • Unbroken – Fewer than 3 deaths
  • Siege Engine – Do not allow Brakion to be shielded for more than 40 seconds

  • Six Shooter Exotic Emote (3250 BD)
  • Avalon Courser Legendary Sparrow (600 BD)

Nightfall: Fallen S.A.B.E.R.

Old Russia, Earth Rush to the aid of the AI Warmind Rasputin as he broadcasts a plea for help across the system.

Modifiers

  • Epic – Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
  • Solar Burn – Solar damage from any source is greatly increased.
  • Small Arms – Primary Weapon damage is favored.
  • Ironclad – More enemies have shields.
  • Exposure – Guardian shields are increased but do not replenish.

Heroic Strike: SIVA Crisis Heroic

Modifiers

  • Heroic – Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive.
  • Void Burn – Void damage from any source is greatly increased.
  • Berserk – Minions of the Darkness won’t flinch, even after massive damage.
  • Brawler – Guardian melee damage is greatly increased.

Modifiers

  • Heroic – Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive.
  • Small Arms – Primary Weapon damage is favored.
  • Grounded – Players take more damage while airborne.

  • Catapult – Grenade recharge rate is greatly increased.
  • Fresh Troops – Some enemy squads have been fortified with additional reinforcements.
  • Grenade Kill Bonus – Grenade kills are worth more points.
