Destiny 2 Expansion 1 will indeed be called “Curse of Osiris”

There were some rumors circulating the web that the first expansion for Destiny 2 would be called “Curse of Osiris”. The rumors were started by a Kotaku and their reputation preceeds them. But now it seems those rumors were right if what’s on a site is true.

According to Microsoft Store, the expansion 2 will indeed be called “Curse of Osiris” and will take you to Mercury to explore the planet and deal with new threats. It will bring additional content like new weapons, new armors, new single and co-op mission and maybe more.

The official announcement goes like this on the page:

Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian’s journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury. Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student – Ikora Rey.

A confirmation from Bungie still need to be made, probably in a couple of weeks after the Raid and Trial of Osiris are online.
