How quickly time flies. What seemed like a significant amount of time between the launch of Destiny 2's console and PC version has all but disappeared, and Bungie has revealed the final PC specs for the game as well as the exact times that the game will simultaneously launch across the world.
Starting on October 24th, Destiny 2's PC servers will go live at 1 PM EST/10 AM PST which also comes to 4 AM the next day on October 25th in Austrailia. Here's the chart:
Destiny 2 is going to be a reasonably meaty file, clocking in at 68 GB and so long as you are running Windows 7, 8, or 10, you should be fine. Here's the complete look at the Destiny 2 PC Specs.
If you plan on picking up Destiny 2, know that your only digital option is to purchase through Blizzard's Battle.net as there are "no plans" to bring the game to Steam. Destiny 2 will be the first non-Blizzard game to be sold through the platform, but given Blizzard's dedication to quality in their games, the fact that they are willing to go out on a limb for a game that isn't theirs would seem to be a pretty solid endorsement.
Destiny 2 releases on PC on October 24th, 2017.
