Destiny 2 re-confirmed for 2017

Earlier today it was reported that a number of details on the upcoming Destiny sequel leaked. The game, rumored to be titled Destiny 2: Forge of Hope, has seen a number of rumors over the past few months and while confirmed details have been few and far between, there's one thing we knew: Destiny 2 was set to release in 2017.

Activision confirmed with ahead of their fourth quarter earnings report for 2015. This release window has been reconfirmed by the fourth quarter earnings report for 2016, this time, though, they tacked on some "growth" plans.

That's right folks, Destiny 2 is coming this year and the DLC is already getting mapped out. Beyond this tidbit on Destiny's sequel Activision didn't divulge much else, but they did say something interesting about Call of Duty.
