Newegg is no stranger to big deals on big games, though what is unexpected is just how far ahead they are willing to discount a game. Destiny 2 isn't due out until September, but if you are planning on playing it on PC, you might want to grab it now through Newegg, as the game is discounted to $49.99 with no clear end date in sight.
Here's the proof.
The "physical" PC version of Destiny 2 is actually a download code, though where you will be able to redeem it is currently unconfirmed. There have been reports that Destiny 2 will be sold through Steam, which would be the smart thing to do, but it remains to be seen if Bungie and/or Activision will choose to have the game playable through their own proprietary platform.
Destiny 2 will get its official gameplay reveal at an event later this month, where it will be shown off on both PC and PlayStation 4, but not Xbox One. The game will also be getting its own 216-page art book called The Art of Destiny 2 sometime after the game launches.
Destiny 2 will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 8th, 2017.
