Just as it was with the original game, Destiny 2 players on PS4 will be getting some timed exclusive content ahead of players on Xbox One and now PC. That content includes the Lake of Shadows Strike, a Crucible map, a ship, and a few pieces of equipment. Game Director Luke Smith took to Twitter to announce when non-PS4 players will see the content and suffice it to say; they can expect a bit of a wait.
Here's the tweet:
Compounding this announcement is that the Last Call Teaser Trailer on the PlayStation YouTube channel which released back in March, shows a disclaimer at the end that reads "timed exclusive content until at least Fall 2018."
So it sounds like if you are on Xbox One or PC, you will have to wait at least a year, possibly more for the extra content.
Destiny 2 releases on Xbox One and PS4 on September 8th and on PC on October 24th.
