Destiny Armsday (9/16/15): New Weapon Tests Detailed

In Year Two of Destiny, which officially started with Oryx's arrival yesterday in The Taken King expansion, Guardians have a new day to look forward to — Armsday.

Every Wednesday, Banshee-44 (the Gunsmith) will offer Guardians a fresh batch of weapons to, well, test without having to purchase them. Each weapon also comes with a bounty (test) that will earn you reputation with Banshee-44 if you complete it. Below are this week's Armsday weapons and bounties.

• Omolon Test HC1 (Hand Cannon): Make precision shots to gather data for Omolon's weapons developers
• Suros TSP-10 (Pulse Rifle): Use against Hive targets to gather field data for the Suros research department
• Hakke Test-A (Shotgun): Use against Hive targets to gather data for Hakke's armament scientists
• Hakke Test-A (Sniper Rifle): Make double-kills with this weapon to gether data for Hakke's armament scientists
• Omolon Test RR1 (Sniper Rifle): Use against Fallen Captains to gather data for Omolon's weapons developers

You don't have to complete the bounties, but doing so will earn you reputation with Banshee-44 which will presumably be used to unlock more powerful weapons. Of course, it's always nice to just test out new weapons and try different styles of play.
