Destiny beta for Xbox One and Xbox 360 slotted for ‘late July’

Activision and Bungie have yet to formally announce the dates for Destiny's beta on Xbox One and Xbox 360, but a new trailer for the game on the Xbox dashboard today may have given us a beta launch window. And thankfully, it doesn't look like Xbox gamers will have to wait much longer than their PlayStation brethren to access the beta to Bungie's upcoming MMO shooter.

According to the trailer, beta for Destiny on Xbox One and Xbox 360 will begin in "late July 2014." That's not too bad considering the beta will open for pre-order customers on PS4 and PS3 on July 17. As a quick reminder, PS4 and PS3 gamers are also getting some timed-exclusive content, which is expected but not confirmed to remain exclusive to PlayStation platforms until fall 2015.

Bungie just wrapped up the First Look Alpha on PS4 not too long ago. You can read our initial impressions here.
