Destiny development enters its final approach towards September 9th release

If you've been fearing that Bungie would delay their upcoming shooter Destiny, it's time to squash those fears. Bungie's weekly update revealed that development is on track and the company is entering its final approach towards the game's September 9th release date.

The company recently bruoght in various outlets to test out a pre-alpha build (this would explain why some of your favorite journalists were Tweeting pictures from Bungie HQ recently) and are preparing to show the world what they've been cooking.

It will mark the beginning of your true introduction into the world of Destiny. We hope, more than anything, that you love what you see.

Bungie wraps up their blog post by saying that the pre-alpha will lead into Alpha proper before bringing in gamers for Beta. It sounds like we'll be getting to play sooner rather than later. It's time to see what all that talk has been about.

We talked a big game last year. We were so excited to talk about our future. Now, it's time to deliver. It's time to close this out in a way that we will all be proud of. We owe that to ourselves, and to our legacy. But most of all, we owe it to you.
