As you're probably aware by now, Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below, is out today and is now available for download across PlayStation and Xbox platforms.
Having known about the expansion for quite a while now, most of the new features have already been talked about in depth. But in case you missed it, The Dark Below features new weapons, armor, and gear, plus new story missions, three new Crucible multiplayer arenas, a new Strike and brand-new six-player Raid. If you're a PlayStation Destiny player you get an exclusive Strike, The Undying Mind and a pretty awesome shotgun. Here's a brief overview of everything included:
Even those of you who don't buy into the expansion right away are due for some changes. While you won't be able to access any of the new content, some updates and alterations have already been made to the game, including some new weapons and armor and the addition of five bounty slots.
The Dark Below is available today for $19.99, or as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass (which also includes the second planned expansion) for $34.99.
