Destiny may not have lived up to the pre-launch hype drummed up by Activision, but it's still a pretty fun game, even if some of Bungie's design choices seem a bit off-the-wall. The point is, it can be a fun game, and for $29.99 why not give it a shot?
Over on Amazon, Destiny is featured as the online retailer's Gold Box Deal of the Day. Whereas the game is normally priced at $59.99, you can snag it today for just $29.99 on Xbox One or PS4. Comparitively, Black Friday specials for the blockbuster shooter only dropped the game down to $45, so here's more proof that good things come to those who wait.
Best of all, by getting the game at this discount, it allows you to now invest your money into the Destiny Expansion Pass which is pretty much required unless you want to be locked out of what was originally launch content. Like I said, odd design choices. But still, Destiny can be a fun game, despite its complete lack of story.
