Activision and Bungie have decided to open up their wallets and throw cash at Destiny: The Taken King. This cash has made its way to Joseph Kosinski, you might remember him from films like Oblivion and Tron: Legacy. No, he wasn't some supporting actor – he directed those films and now he's directing live-action Destiny trailers.
Well, he's made one – who knows if he will make any others. The trailer has three Guardians taking on Oryx – you know, the father or Crota… the guy you killed countless times – and it's pretty darn awesome. It even features Nolan North's new Ghost recordings.
If there's one thing that this trailer further signifies, it's that Halo could totally get a live-action film that at least looked good.
Destiny: The Taken King is set to release on September 15th.
