This week's update for Destiny has been rolled out a day early, bringing with it the expected changes to Crota's End. It also preps the game for the return of tomorrow's Crucible event, the Iron Banner.
Sadly, today marks the end of a popular cheese in which you could exploit the raid boss. Basically you could disconnect mid-fight against Crota and reconnect to find the boss in permanent paralyzed state. You know, because Destiny players always complain about a challenge and then continuously search for exploits every time there's new content. I'm sure the game's players are frantically searching for a new exploit as I type this.
But while much of today's update is focused on Crota's End, the patch notes also include the list of changes for the Iron Banner. The PvP event promises level 32 weapon drops and Legendary gear earned through event standing.
