While the bulk of today's Destiny livestream was focused on the new Prison of Elders end-game activity coming with the House of Wolves expansion, Bungie also revealed a brand new cooperative strike mission.
Called "The Shadow Wolf," the new strike mission will take you to the Moon to track down a Fallen mercenary named Taniks the Scarred. Holed up in the Wolfship Kaliks-Syn, you and your team will need to find a way to teleport to the ship, where you'll encounterĀ more challenges, including a Fallen Captain and Walker.
The Shadow Wolf strike mission is just one of the new activities coming to Destiny with House of Wolves. Trials of Osiris will offer players a new competitive, three-versus-three multiplayer mode, while Prison of Elders is a cooperative, wave-based experience.
Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves will be available on Tuesday, May 19th. ItĀ is the second of two planned expansions for Destiny, and is included as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass which is priced at $34.99. Alternatively, the expansion can be purchased individually for $19.99. Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below, released in December of last year.
