I don't think this will come as a surprise to many of you, but Bungie's blockbuster shooter Destiny is proving to be every bit a success on PlayStation as Sony and Activision had hoped. For the month of September 2014, Destiny claimed the top spot on both PS4 and PS3 for the PlayStation Store's top downloads.
Granted, player response to the game hasn't been great since its launch, but with the game selling as well as it did I hope Bungie will continue to work to improve the experience. After all, they've still got that 10 year plan.
Minecraft followed Destiny, with the PS4 Edition and PS3 Edition both atop their respective platform's charts. FIFA 15 was the third best-seller on PS4, while Grand Theft Auto 5 rounded out the top 3 on PS3. Of course, GTA 5 isn't yet available on PS4, but it's coming.
