Much of Bungie's blog post this week was focused on the Crucible, and tweaks being made to improve the PvP experience in Destiny. But what about those of us who prefer PvE? Well, Bungie hasn't detailed any new content in a while, but did say the February update will at least bring some fixes for the already existing content — specifically aboard the Dreadnaught.
For starters, the update should fix a camera issue with the Daughters of Oryx encounter.
"If you’ve ever been the “runner” in the Daughters of Oryx encounter, you’ve probably encountered an incredibly annoying issue where your camera would snap back to a default position. We’ve fixed that, which should make the runner’s job more enjoyable."
There's also fix for the OP "teleporting ogres" (which is actually a glitch, by the way).
"We thought teleporting ogres in the Oryx encounter were totally OP, so we nerfed them into the ground! Actually, there was an unfortunate issue where the bombs were capable of blocking the Ogre’s pathfinding. That resulted in them occasionally making a very frustrating teleport to get past the blocked path. Oryx Challenge Mode should be a little more forgiving now."
That's all for now. Remember, Destiny's first ever Valentine's Day event — "Crimson Days" — is set to arrive this week. Described as being "on a scale close to Festival of the Lost," Destiny's Halloween event, Crimson Days brings a new 2v2 Crucible mode called "Crimson Doubles."
