Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski and Xbox boss Phil Spencer have already taken the ALS Assocation’s ice bucket challenge, and now even gaming’s characters are getting in on the frozen charity. In response to a challenge from the warriors of Warframe, Destiny’s Ghost has been bucketed—from the moon, of course.
True to form, both Bungie and Digital Extremes have chipped in for the ALSA’s fight against nerve diseases and challenged more for the cause. Bungie was the first to respond to Digital’s call, leaving Borderlands’ Claptrap and Halo’s Master Chief unanswered. In their response, Bungie have called out Joel of The Last of Us, Jonathan Irons of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and George Lucas himself.
To learn more about the ALS ice bucket challenge and donate to the cause yourself—no freezing required, though you wouldn’t know it from the rampancy of this trend—head here.
