Following a much improved Iron Banner this month, Bungie announced the special week-long Crucible event will return to Destiny in December. We don't have an exact date yet, but on the weekly blog, Bungie briefly touched on it.
"Iron Banner returns in December," Bungie said, posting alongside a chart that proves not only does gear matter, but at what light level you start to see it take effect.
"If these numbers are to be believed, you’ll want to commit yourself to the next battle with 303 or greater Light for the best odds of going positive. You have a month to gear up."
We're not sure if Bungie has any more tweaks to the Iron Banner in December, but we do know there's a massive update coming that will adjust weapon tuning and class balancing. That alone should have a pretty big impact on the Crucible.
