Destiny’s Iron Banner set to return next week

Bungie brought a number of tweaks to Destiny with their February 9th update (2.1.1). The epdate was released in preparation for the Crimson Days event, bringing a new 2v2 Crucible mode, Crimson Doubles and a couple of issues that have since been resolved.

Hidden in the 2.1.1 patch notes, were changes to the Iron Banner. Since the patch, players will no longer need to return to Orbit to receive their Rank 5 package rewards and Lord Saladin will now display a waypoint when Rank 3 and 5 packages are available.

However, it should be noted that if you don't retrieve your Rank 3 packages before reaching Rank 5, you will lost them.

The Iron Banner is set to return on February 23rd.
