Destiny’s most popular weapons revealed

Destiny offers players a wide assortment of weaponry that's diverse enough to fulfill just about every players' desires. But ever wonder which weapons were the most popular? I guess Bungie has, and in this week's update, the developer did a little research into the gather they're constantly collecting.

Below are the top ten most popular weapons wielded by level 20-plus Guardians over the past two weeks. What's neat is that Bungie even broken it down by primary, special, and heavy weaponry.

What I find most surprising in this list is that even at level 20-plus, Rare weapons still have a place among the top weapons. And here I was grinding for Legendaries and Exotics.

Taking things a bit further, Bungie ran the same search for players of all levels. "As expected, the influx of holiday “Kinderguardians” shifts the most equipped weapons interestingly more towards the 'battered and worn' side of the scale as new players pick up a controller and play through the opening moments for their first time,'" the developer pointed out.
