Bungie has hired a new Community Manager for Destiny and they go by Cozmo on the game's forums. When Cozmo first announced their arrival on the Destiny scene on July 20th, they were met with a community that wanted a lot of changes made to the game.
What did Cozmo do about the sudden inundation of requests? They set up a Community Wish List, of course. Everything that Destiny players want is being taken note of and listed. The Community Wish List is guided by player feedback and is composed of the community's most common requests.
The list itself is not a 'To-Do' list for Bungie, it's a 'we see that you are asking for this and will consider your ideas' list. Interestingly enough, Destiny players are pretty vain when it comes to their Guardian's appearance. Three of the top five requests are all about aesthetics: weapon skins, gear transmogrification and facial hair (can the Exo's have facial hair too?).
Gear transmogrification would be an awesome feature to have, some of the best gear doesn't look as cool as some of the lesser gear and it would definitely help set Guardians apart (I totally used it in WoW – it was amazing). Beyond the top five requests, the community's wishes are all over the place (Vault sorting would be great!).
These are the most frequent community wishes for Destiny:
