Destiny’s next big event, Vault of Glass, begins tomorrow

While the debate can be made that Destiny at launch, lacks substantial content, there's no denying that Bungie is at least working diligently to bring you fresh content. This weekend we enjoyed the Salvage, a PvP mode that saw you battling to claim and salvage relics in the Crucible. And now, Bungie is readying to release a brand new raid: Vault of Glass.

Opening tomorrow, September 16 at 2:00am Pacific, Vault of Glass is a new level 26 beneath the planet Venus. "No one knows what lies within the Vault of Glass, only that beyond its gates you will face your greatest challenge yet," Bungie teases. "Gather your Light. Stand together. Become legend."

I know what some of you may be thinking, Destiny's level cap is 20. Well, sort of. Once you hit level 20, some gear that you acquire contains a "Light" component which through some sort of mathematical formula that I don't know somehow equates to additional levels beyond 20. Whatever the case, you'll need to be level 26 to enter the Vault of Glass.

For completing it, Bungie says you'll get Raid Set Gear and Ascendant Materials, but we all know you'll probably get a bunch of greens and blues. And the Legendary item you do get will probably be for another class because the Cryptarch is a d*ck.
