Destiny’s next Iron Banner arrives after the holidays

Bungie has confirmed that Destiny's next Iron Banner week will begin on December 29th. So those of you Taken Tots who get Destiny for Christmas will have a few days to familiarize yourself with the Crucible, the game's PvP portion.

While October's Iron Banner was believed by many to be the worst yet, Bungie made the appropriate tweaks and fixes in time for November's IB, restoring the fan-favorite mode to its fun self. This will be the third Iron Banner event since the release of The Taken King expansion and the first since the release of Destiny's massive December update, which balance changes to Titans and weapons. As such, it'll be interesting to see how the tweaks affect gameplay because, in case you don't know, power actually matters in Iron Banner as the special mode removes the automatic gear balance.

As always, we'll keep you updated with any new information we learn, including the promised gear announcements. In the meantime, enjoy the ongoing Sparrow Racing League event going on.
