Destiny’s The Dark Below expansion includes PlayStation-exclusive Strike

Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below, will bring some more PlayStation-exclusive content.

Announced today, Guardians playing on PS4 and PS3 will get access to an exclusive cooperative Strike called The Undying Mind. While no concrete details could be shared today, Bungie did say that the raid takes place in the Black Garden. The developer also added that more in-depth details will be shared "very soon."

The Undying Mind is technically the second PlayStation-exclusive Strike. The first was the Dust Palace Strike which was available at Destiny's launch.

Like all of the other planned PlayStation content, these additional offerings are a timed exclusive until "at least" Fall 2015, meaning Xbox players could see their arrival later on.

The Dark Below is set for release on December 9. It's available individually for $19.99, or as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass — which includes the second planned expansion as well — for $34.99.
