Destiny’s The Queen’s Wrath event has begun; here’s how it works

Destiny's next big event, The Queen's Wrath, has gone live, bringing new bounties, challenging mission modes and, of course, rewards for your efforts.

The Queen's Wrath comes in the form of a vendor named Petra Venj (the Queen's emissary) who can be found inside the iron Banner curtain. The vendor sells a number of Queen-themed weapons, armor, emblems and shaders for Glimmer, but in order to buy them you must first increase your Queen Rank by earning reputation.

And how do you do that? With bounties, of course.

Although buying items with Glimmer and reputation is one way to get gear, there are also other ways. Specific Queen's bounties (called Reef bounties) can be found at the regular bounty board, below the normal Vanguard and Crucible bounties. Once you complete a regular Reef bounty and turn it it, it will automatically start a new mission for you that has greater rewards, including exotic and legendary items.

The Queen's Wrath event will last until October 6, so you have about two weeks to farm that reputation and collect as many bounties as possible. Check back later today as we will provide a video walkthrough of this new event.
