Destiny servers going offline for maintenance tomorrow

With Destiny: The Taken King right around the corner, Bungie is ensuring their servers are all buttoned up and ready to rock when the expansion hits on September 15th. To that end, the developer has announced planned maintenance that will bring the servers down for approximately six hours tomorrow.

Destiny's servers will be taken offline tomorrow (Sept. 3) at 8:00am PDT (11:00am EDT). Maintenance is expected to last six hours, ending approximately at 2:00pm PDT (5:00pm EDT). During this time, some Bungie.net sign-in and Companion app services may be restricted. If you are already signed in to Destiny before maintenance begins, you'll receive a notice via in-game messaging prior to it beginning.

As a reminder, Bungie will be hosting today another livestream for The Taken King. Starting at 11:00am PT (2:00pm ET), Bungie will take us aboard the Dreadnaught and show off the Court of Oryx, a new public event coming with The Taken King.
