Destiny Strange Coin Vendor, Xûr, will sell you exotic gear and weapons

If you've been plowing through Destiny, chances are you came across a few Strange Coins that are waiting in to be used in your inventory. Turns out, they're actually currency used at a vendor that only appears at The Tower on Friday through Sunday.

Xûr, the Agent of the Nine will sell three Exotic random pieces of equipment, and it seems like it's one per class, as well as an Exotic weapon, and an Exotic Engram. He'll also sell you consumables which help you gain weapon skills faster, as well as permanent Sparrow upgrades.

His stock refreshes every week, so after he's gone for the weekend, he'll come back with completely new items the week after.
