On PlayStation Blog EU, the PlayStation exclusives for Destiny: The Dark Below DLC have been detailed. Come December 9th when it launches, PlayStation gamers get an exclusive Strike on Mars: The Undying Mind, and an amazing exotic shotgun.
The Undying Mind Strike is an ancient mind in The Black Garden that even the Vex are afraid of. It's a three-player Strike that can be played with friends or through matchmaking. When The Undying Mind is threatened, its ancient creators step through time portals to defend it, making sure it will continue to thrive until the Vex once again control the Black Garden. It looks like a boss we've already fought though…
The PlayStation-exclusive exotic weapon is The 4th Horseman shotgun. It has four barrels, five shots and a faster rate of fire than any shotgun in the game. It deals arc damage and its two big upgrades increase the damage of the last round in the magazine; and kills with the weapon grant bonus ammo directly to the magazine.
GTFO.
It's worth noting, both of these are timed exclusives until at least Autumn 2015.
The other content coming with the expansion is:
- New story missions that pit you against a Hive god
- New weapons, armour, and gear to further customise your Guardian
